Stonecbeta was established to fill a clear gap in the Mombasa property market: reliable, selective, expert service for buyers, tenants, and investors.
Stonecbeta was founded in Mombasa in 2015 by a team of property professionals who had spent the preceding decade observing the same problem: clients who deserved better information, cleaner processes, and more honest guidance were being underserved by volume-driven agencies focused on transaction fees rather than outcomes. We began with a deliberate choice to represent fewer properties at higher quality rather than accumulate listings indiscriminately. That founding principle remains intact today. The agency operates from its Nyali Road office and serves the broader Mombasa County market, including Nyali, Bamburi, Shanzu, Tudor, Likoni, and Mombasa Island. We work primarily with individual buyers, families relocating to the coast, diaspora investors seeking managed assets, and businesses requiring commercial space in Mombasa's commercial districts. Our portfolio at any given time contains between fifteen and thirty active listings — each one inspected, documented, and understood by at least one member of our advisory team before it is presented to a client.

Our advisory process begins with listening. We have completed over 200 transactions since 2015, including some of the more complex leasehold conversions on the North Coast. Where we add the most value is in the due diligence phase: our knowledge of the Mombasa Land Registry's current processing times, the surveyors who meet deadlines, and the legal firms experienced in coastal title structures saves clients weeks of avoidable delay. We should also be direct about our limits: we do not manage short-term holiday rentals, we do not operate outside Mombasa County, and we cannot guarantee specific transaction timelines when title queries or survey disputes arise from third-party offices. We flag these possibilities early so clients can plan accordingly. What we can guarantee is that you will always know where your transaction stands and who is responsible for the next step.
